Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress famous for her character Bo in the Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk, a well-known actor and director. He was also a playwright, educator, as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with most fond memories of watching TV and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk appeared as a little actress in commercials. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University. The early stage work she did included at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move out of Toronto to Los Angeles in the decade that followed 1999. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first discovered at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. The couple got married in December of 2009 following a civil ceremony. They renewed their vows April 10, 2011 in Fredericton, after the woman changed her religion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th May, 2016. Silk's television work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. She was given the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant while filming the finale of the third season. The actress announced her pregnancy to the fans in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special of the 6th of January, 2013. Silk is working on Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode was conceived on January 6 2013. She announced via Twitter that she would return to the show on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of the fourth. CNN has named Bo's character with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV for the year 2013. Entertainment Television.
